For this tutorial you will need:

PSP 9 or higher
A tube of your choice
The tube in this image is from the artwork of ŠKate Honarvar and can be purchased from pcCrafter.com
No outside filters or plugins are needed

Open your tube, duplicate and close the original.

Pick two colors from your tube.

Resize tube so no side is larger than 350

Image>Canvas Size> 400x450, placement is the center.

Duplicate this image, minimize the copy for now.

Working with the original copy - Layers duplicate 2 times (you should have a total of 3 layers)

Highlight the bottom layer.

Highlight the middle layer.

Effects>Texture Effects>Mosaic Glass>with these settings

Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling>Mirror

Layers>Add a new layer

Flood fill with the pattern we just made, Angle-0, Scale-100

Lower the opacity of this layer to make it text friendly (I set mine between 50-60%)
