Let it Snow Tutorial
For this tutorial you will need:
A tube of your choice
A side edge mask of your choice or use one of mine
VM Natural-Stardust
Open your tube, duplicate and close the original.
Choose two colors from your tube and note the Hue & Saturation numbers.
Open a new image 100x100
Flood fill with one of your chosen colors.
Effects>Plugins>VM Natural>Stardust - the first line is set to 80 and the rest set to 255
Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling, default settings
Minimize this image for now.
Open your tube, resize if needed.
Image>Canvas Size>width of tube + 30 x height of tube.
If you are using a double sided edge mask choose center placement. If you are using a single edge mask choose left center placement.
Add a new layer.
Flood fill with the pattern we made earlier, Angle 0, Scale 100.
Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling, default settings
Layers>Load/Save Mask>from disk
Layers>Merge>Merge Group
Apply Drop Shadow of your choice.
Layers>Arrange>Send to the bottom.
Highlight the tube layer and add any effects you would like.
Layers>Merge>Merge Visible
Add a new layer and apply your watermark.
Image>Canvas Size>1450xheight of the tube, left center placement.
Add a layer
Flood fill with the pattern Angle 0, Scale 100.
Effects>Image Effects>Seamless Tiling, default settings
Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Colorize, enter the hue and saturation colors of your second color.
Layers>Arrange>Send to the bottom
Export with the JPEG optimizer, 15-20% compression
Assemble in Letter Creator.
